Monday, May 6th at 7:30pm

As we begin the month of May, we will have our annual outdoor candlelight international rosary ceremony at the grotto on the priest house residence lawn on Monday, May 6th, at 7:30pm.

The ceremony will be followed by a reception social on the rectory carport patio. All are welcome.

Members: please mark your calendars for the quarterly meeting of the Parish Finance Council, Thursday, May 9th at 8:45am in the 2nd floor conference room at the Parish Office.

Today begins the Easter Season, which lasts 50 days until the Solemnity of Pentecost on Sunday, June 9th. The Easter Season brings with it the distinct joy of the celebration of the Easter Sacraments: Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.

This year, COTLF proudly congratulates and welcomes our two child catechumens who, after a long journey of preparation through our Religious Education programs, received their Sacraments and were initiated into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil!

In the coming weeks, over 200 young boys and girls from our beloved St. Theresa School and Parish Religious Education program will be receiving their First Communion. Additionally, over 50 Candidates from our Parish R.E. program and from the RCIA will be Confirmed by Bishop Delgado on Wednesday, May 15th at 7:00pm.

All are invited to join us in support of our newest Confirmandi as we welcome the bishop to our parish.

We are excited to announce that the bus for our May 22nd Pilgrimage to Ave Maria University is at capacity. We do have a waiting list that you may call and be placed on.

The price of the trip is $50 and will include all transportation, lunch and gratuities.

For those who are on the confirmed list, payment needs to be received by Friday April 19, 2019. If ticket is not paid for by that date, the seat will be opened to those on the waiting list. Do not hesitate and secure your seat today!

Join us on Monday, June 3rd for our next quarterly HEALING MASS.

It is a Eucharistic liturgy designed to support those who are infirmed, dealing with serious health matters, terminal illnesses, approaching surgery, or those burdened by the weight of years. Several priests will be on hand to bestow the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. Join us as we pray for those in need. All are welcome.

A new initiative, several months away, but worthy of mention now, is our plan to have a Father-Son Communion breakfast at Little Flower.

The idea is that on June 15th, the day before Father's Day, all grandfathers, fathers and sons together, would come to a Saturday morning Mass at 8:00am, receive Communion together, and afterwards, enjoy a pancake breakfast together in Comber Hall, during which a motivational talk on the importance of the father-son relationship would be presented.

Details coming soon!

If spots become available, the camper registration will open again on the VBS website.

All those who have expressed interest in accompanying Father Davis on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, January 31, 2020 to February 9, 2020, are invited to an information and registration meeting on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 7:30pm in the parish hall.

There are already 50 people on the list for this particular trip. Other announced trips will have their own information meetings. For those who are planning to go on January 31, 2020, it is recommended that you come to the meeting prepared to complete the registration forms and make the trip deposit.

Trips normally "sell-out" on registration night. First come, first serve. See you on April 25th!
